AMPs have various structures associated with many different antimicrobial functions, including antibacterial, anticancer, antifungal, antiparasitic and antiviral activities. However, none has yet reported any antimicrobial functional tendency within a specific category of protein/peptide structures nor any structural tendency of a specific antimicrobial function with respect to AMPs. Here, we examine the relationships between structures categorized by three structural classification methods (CATH, SCOP, and TM) and seven antimicrobial functions with respect to AMPs using an enrichment analysis. The results show that antifungal activities of AMPs were tightly related to the two-layer sandwich structure of CATH, the knottin fold of SCOP, and the first structural cluster of TM. The associations with knottin and TM Cluster 1 even sustained through the AMPs with a low sequence identity. Moreover, another significant mutual enrichment was observed between the third cluster of TM and anti-Gram-positive-bacterial/anti-Gram-negative-bacterial activities. A NIR-based method was applied using multivariate data analysis to achieve in-line process monitoring. The process dynamics were described with residence time distribution (RTD) models to achieve deep process understanding. The RTD was determined using the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) as a tracer with multiple designs of experiment (DoE) studies to determine the effect of critical process parameters (CPPs) on the process dynamics. To achieve quality control through material diversion from feeding data, soft sensor-based process control tools were designed using the RTD model. The operation block model of the system was designed to select feasible experimental setups using the RTD model, and feeder characterizations as digital twins, therefore visualizing the output of theoretical setups. At the end of the first screening, following the previously described selection criteria, we selected n = 103 articles eligible for full-text reading. Ultimately, after full-text reading and a reference list check, we selected n = 6. The articles focused on physical (PT), associated with cognitive behavioral (CBT) and pharmacological (PhT) treatments. The combination of PT + CBT shows the most efficacy as suggested, but a commonly accepted protocol has not been developed.
Physical therapy in association with occupational and cognitive behavioral treatment is the recommended option in the management of pediatric CPRS. All subjects were middle-aged and obese women (= 52, % body fat &gt; 30%). The participants were divided into premenopausal (PRM) (= 18, age = 47.56 ± 6.11 years) and postmenopausal (POM) (= 34, age = 57.79 ± 5.68 years) groups. The participants completed a survey questionnaire related to depression and the climacterium, as well as cognitive tests. Physical activity was performed for 12 weeks. Blood samples from the forearm vein were analyzed after 12 h of fasting. Blood levels of BDNF, NGF, and cathepsin B were analyzed using an R&amp;D kit.
Regular leisure-time physical activity had a positive effect on reducing the percentage of body fat in premenopausal and postmenopausal obese women.
